Spike's Bitches 46: Don't I get a cookie?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

move out and draw fire

Spidra makes a great point about using Google Voice as a stand-in phone. I'm pretty sure I have an invite left also if anyone wants it.

I noticed the conversation about the bad Kanji tattoos. Well, here are two links you might like: this for Kanji: [link] and Bad Hebrew Tattoos: [link]

If anyone of you would ever want a Hebrew tattoo... ask first, people. Really. No, really. [link]

Edit:

I don't see anything different.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Thanks for the Birthday Happies, Guys!

The birthday beach trip was good. When we went out on Saturday in Asbury Park to see what music we could find at one of the half-dozen venues it turned out that SPRINGSTEEN WAS PLAYING THE PONY!!!!

It was a seekrit show and, of course, sold out. But the Stone Pony is a really small place and the venue staff opened all the doors so a couple hundred people could linger in the parking lot and listen. It was gorgeous. We were WAY closer than we'd been at the Giant Stadium shows and were hearing him instead of a bunch of amplification. Srsly. I was about ten feet away from the man while he was playing -- there was just a cinderblock wall between us is all. He sounded simply incred.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY KARA MAI TWIN!!!!

Happy Birthday, PC!

Happy Birthday, Nora!

Congratulations on the solid food, Drew!

Oh, and I utterly reject the concept of a 'tramp stamp'. What the fuck does that even MEAN? That a woman who has tattoos has sex? Likes sex? Likes looking sexy? Fuck you world. Oooh! A RYHME! How utterly fucking clever. I'm not sure why a phrase so blatantly sexist and nasty is tossed around so readily by people of all ages and persuasions.

I mean, I KNOW how -- nobody thinks about how awful it is. Well it IS awful and it should stop. At the very least it should not be this acceptable.

Its a good place for a woman to put ink because it won't shift around too much with weight/pregnancy/etc and its easy to hide or show at will. Short of necks, faces, and hands a guy can dress nicely and hide anything. Women's clothes are much less forgiving bareness-wise. Seriously, fuck off -- its a great place for a woman to put ink and keep her options open.

(Mine is on my bicep and it does ok with a makeup cover because no one is really looking at the inside of your arm but that's a pretty ouchy spot.)

Ladies, if you want one there get one there. Take back your on body and your own asthetics. Seriously.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

It's a tramp stamp because that's where your eyes are fixed when you're tapping that ass from behind, and that only happens with a trollop.

Google needs to alter its logo for Tom Hardy's birthday.
