Mal: We're still flying. Simon: That's not much. Mal: It's enough.

Spike's Bitches 46: Don't I get a cookie?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

{{{Barb}}} Any kind of ~ma you need and some calm~ma.

Hivemind question: We sent a letter to our landlord last month about various things that needed fixing around here and various concerns we have. Instead of responding to us directly, he had his lawyer respond to us about what he would and would not do. There are still some points that need to be qualified, based on the letter we received. So do we call or write our landlord or do we call or write his lawyer? We're trying not to escalate the situation.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

{{Barb}}

So, apparently I have Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo (BPPV). That should make my flying lessons interesting. Which is to say, potentially nonexistent. I'll have to discuss it with my instructor.

As physical ailments go, this is about as benign as one could ask for (as long as one isn't asking while flying a plane). My recent dizziness could have been due to heart problems, extremely high blood pressure, brain tumors, internal bleeding, etc. And I'm glad it's not. And it's not like flying is my one true calling.

Still, the cat came up to me and made a fuss when I got home from the doctor today. He's good about knowing when I'm feeling down and trying to help.

Le N, around here I see them at health food stores that have a New Age component, hanging out among the crystals or the aromatherapy.

{{{sj}}} My gut says go through the lawyer but I bet other bitches have advice based on something more tangible.

{{{Calli}}} sorry you might have to give up flying but yay for benignness. (benignity?)

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

I'm reduced to ordering online, because there's no one local that I've been able to find who carries it.

Bev, do you want me to ask my Very Wiccan pseudo-sibling for you? There's got to be someplace near you that would carry sage.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

BTW, erin_o, send me an email at profile addy, and I'l ref you to Vistaprint, if you want.

If you use them, you get up to 80% off your order, and I get...$5 off my next order.

(Hey, I'll take it!)
