Seriously, I'm sometimes baffled by people who get some kind of ailment or pain after a lifetime of good health and act like theirs is the only pain in the world. It's like the Steve Forbert lyric: "Some fool sits stuck on the runway and says, 'It's only me this happens to.'"

I *thought* I had the girls back today, but here it is, 8:30, and no sign of them. Wish I had confirmed - I might have slept in. On the other hand, I'm up, showered, and watching Season 4 of Mad Men on Netflix. Might be a nice day!

With my herniated disc, leg pain was also involved. That required an MRI to diagnose.
Ginger, this was my experience. I did not require surgery...thank goodness...but it did hurt for a long, long time. Best possible outcome ~ma for your Ma.
