Paging bonny or other pet-owning buffistas: Last night my realtor told me that there is still a urine odor on my bamboo floors in the front room, courtesy of the tenants from hell who would leave her dogs inside for days on end without letting them out.
I found this article: [link] that has some solutions, but I'm concerned that since this is a lingering issue, i.e., not dealing with fresh urine, that it might not be what is needed.
Any thoughts?
Ugh, Nora, I hope you can find a way to fix the odor problem.
Interview~ma, quester!
Still no word from our current landlord. Soon-to-be landlord, on the other hand, picked up the phone right away when I called him this morning to confirm our meeting time tomorrow. It's the little things...
Oh, I forgot to mention above: jobma, quester! You deserve a break.
{{Maria}} Vibing hard for best possible answers come Monday.
Jilli, congratulations on tricking everyone into thinking you know what you are doing by actually knowing so much about what you are doing. Very clever of you!
Good luck, quester!

Nora, there's an enzyme spray that's made to get rid of pet odors that might work. It works on carpet because it soaks in and the little enzyme bugs eat whatever's causing the odor. Bamboo is porous, so it might work as well for that. Alas, it's been a long time since I used it and I can't remember the name.
Beverly, your cynical take on smoking intrigues me. Have you ever tried nicotine patches? I've never smoked (I've TRIED) but I've used nicotine patches for a while now to boost my slug-like metabolism and help me calm down and focus when I get restless and jittery. (My BFF has said before that she feels better smoking than not, controlling for withdrawal symptoms, of course, and considering she's the most frighteningly healthy person I've ever met, I don't argue with her!)
I have hesitated to move in that direction, Zen, but I will run it by my PCP. She's as puzzled as I by my stubborn resistance to metabolic function. And thanks for the suggestion!
Current owner of condo refuses to return calls with questions about the property, or for a showing. Granted, it's a foreclosure property. But denying a person the chance to buy it will not make the problem go away. And it's one of the few that I can actually afford. Grr.
askye, thanks for the input.

What -t said.
it isn't something you do as performance art - or a style that is part of a performance - but just day to day life.
And what Toddson said.
StW stayed over last night, and once again I had massive problems falling asleep. I think it's as much the chronic hip pain as anything. I have got to find my rehab handouts and start doing my exercises. Waking up next to him, though? A++ would endure more nights of little sleep.

What you need to do is get the real estate agent. She should have a key and tell people that if they don't make an appoint, she will simply bring you over. Of course the law varies from state to state, but in Texas that was done all the time when I lived there immediately after the Texas real estate crash.
