Zoe: Uh huh. River, honey? He's putting the hair away now. River: It'll still be there... waiting.

Spike's Bitches 46: Don't I get a cookie?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

I spent more than a couple of years saying I wanted to meet the man who could change my mind about men (i.e. thinking they were all assholes), then I met Daniel.

This made my morning.

It's true that Buffista men are the counter-example to the "all men are assholes" theory.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Many men are the counter example. It's a pretty flawed theory.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

This.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

I think most humans travel up and down the asshole spectrum. It's more what you do than who you are. But I am thankful every day that I have found a community (thanks, Pix!) where folks try hard not to act like assholes.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Yeah, it used to bug me when women would ask me, "Why do all men do X?" when I never did X.

I get that too, but from the other side of the gender aisle.

I think this can be summed up as "People, ruining it for the rest of us."

not your mom's socks.

"People, ruining it for the rest of us."

I endorse this summation.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

"People, ruining it for the rest of us."

I endorse this summation.

Me too.
