Continuing ~ma, Maria; these are such tough times I wish ~ma was an actual physical resource we could purchase to share around.
Calli, yeah, as much as I want to leave I probably won't for family reasons. My father is 88 and I just wouldn't feel right leaving the state at this point. And his family is known for being long-lived. We have more than one centenarian in the family and any number of nonagenarians. He could be around until I'm ready to retire. So, I'm more planning on where will I retire to in 15 years? The PNW looks better and better every day.
Oh, and so I don't seem like a total loser,
Wait, what? "Loser" and "Maria" do not belong in the same universe, let alone sentence!
Good luck, vortex! At least you got to have the surgery while employed/insured? And yay phone screen Maria!
I'm in the Bismarck airport an hour ahead of my flight. Hoping that it isn't delayed even though the incoming is--need time to buy dinner in Minneapolis.
Sorry vortex that really sucks but I hope that this leads to something really good for you.

While I think the company could be a good fit, I see Vortex as more of a HBIC.
Also, leak is fixed (we hope), celing fan replaced, two doorknobs replaced, and I have permission to buy and install a towel rack and tp holder. Not bad, Ray, not bad! Making up for bad first impressions.
So, Tom ... is your plan to make Manhattan Buffista Island? get everyone to move there?
