Saffron: I'll die. Mal: Well, as a courtesy, you might start getting busy on that, 'cause all this chatter ain't doin' me any kindness.

Spike's Bitches 46: Don't I get a cookie?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Echoing the nothing~ma, Vortex.

I went and was productive in a coffee shop while StW studied, and then we went across the street to the bar and had a drink. Still adorbs. It's funny, he's the introvert (and emotionally reserved) and I'm the extrovert (and very open, as y'all know), but he does more talking and I do more listening, in general, when we're together. I think he likes having a non-doctor to talk to, and I've become a better listener over the years. His recent ex was there, too, with a guy. They waved on their way out.

Seeing StW definitely improved my mood. Also, the PMS should be waning, and I sent my resume out to a few places tonight. I'm proud of staying productive despite my shitty mood the last couple of days.

brillig

So Hubby called the cardiac folks to enquire if they'd perhaps deign to let him know if I was likely to keel over stone dead in the next few weeks or so. As he told me they told him, "For someone your age, in your shape, with your health, your heart is what they want to see."

Which kind of sounds like, "Considering your car was blown up, hit by a train, and fell off a cliff, it's in terrific shape!" but I'm going to assume that my heart's doing pretty well and some time spent on the recumbent bike at the gym is not only not contra-indicated but pretty damned well encouraged.

All is well that ends in pizza.

The world's narrowest house. (Proposed)

Ack! Mental claustrophobia!

move out and draw fire

I've been keeping a log, and in the last couple months I've had about 10 days where I wasn't suffering from a headache. The one I have now, that I've had for 4 days, is particularly nasty and won't let me sleep. Also, my sense of taste is way wonky - things either have no flavor or the wrong one.

I'm not going to google, b/c I'll just freak myself out, but is this too stupid of a thing to see the doctor about? I'm at the point where I'm actually considering it, but I don't want them to be "yeah, it's a headache. Take Tylenol and deal with it."

"We're all stories, in the end. Just make it a good one, eh?"

Just confirmed: The Girl and I are going to Scotland in August - WITH SHIR! In a campervan (I think you people call them RVs)! We will see lochs and mountains and a lot of midgies! I am way beyond excited.

I enjoy almond milk more than soy milk, but that's not hard because soy milk is OF THE DEVIL. Yes it is. (I am not lactose intolerant, but for a while I thought I might be. The problem turned out to be wheat.)

I'm so glad it went OK with the landlord, smonster.

Hopes for it being absolutely nothing, Vortex.

Burrell:

Well dang Seska, I'd say that worked out perfectly.

Indeed it did. I am delighted to be oppressed by my woman.

Did I mention SCOTLAND?! With Shir?!

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

May it be no big deal, Vortex!

Seska, that sounds like the awesomest road trip ever!

Raq, I say see a doctor. The wonky sense of taste makes it sound like it might be serious.

I am awake early, and working in my bathrobe. This is not ideal. I should either shower and dress, or go back to bed.

"We're all stories, in the end. Just make it a good one, eh?"

Shir says she wants to go Ianto-spotting.

I may have to explain the geography of Britain to Shir.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

I may have to explain the geography of Britain to Shir.

But this may be the closest she's ever been to Ianto! It's only sensible to stay alert.

OK, I suppose I was vaguely keeping an eye out for Eliza Dushku when I was last in New York.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

Raq, I think 10 days out of 60 where you *don't* have a headache definitely warrants a doctor visit. That means that over 80% of the time you DO have a headache, and that's not the default state for, you know, heads.
