I love almond milk. I happily do soy if I'm at a coffee shop or something, but at home it's all almond.
Spike's Bitches 46: Don't I get a cookie?
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Almond milk does taste much better than soy, but is very light on protein. At least the brands I'm familiar with are.
Milk? From an almond? That's nuts!
Wish me assertive~ma! Landlord is on the way!
The move is complete! The old workshop is out of the basement, and into the new building on the third floor. I now have freight elevator access to my shop. Much better than the old, which was no elevator access.
Now, I get to unpack.
Can someone take a nap for me. I need one.

Not a dealbreaker for me; I'm an avid eater of meat and eggs. It's less a matter of getting me some protein than of finding something that isn't milk (mildly lactose intolerant, me) and isn't soy that tastes good and makes a good smoothie. Coconut milk is also on my list to try, though I think it's thinner than almond milk and thus less smoothie-licious.

Someone took mine! I've been awake all day.

Good luck!
It went fine. He's going to replace a ceiling fan, fix the leak, and pay me to fix the door knobs, cabinet pulls, and do weather stripping on the back door. I took the water fine off my rent, and he was cool with that.
My favorite non dairy milk is So Delicious Coconut Milk (it's not like canned coconut milk). Also the ice cream made from it is really good.
Yay for assertive smonster!
