Oh Jamie Oliver, that cook off stunt was painful. The first time this show has really made me stop and say WTF? Just how staged is this?

Spike's Bitches 46: Don't I get a cookie?
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Hil, you are disturbingly badass regarding the 2nd degree burn. "Yeah, I may have toasted some nerves, there. It's just a flesh wound. Just gimme an aspirin, there's vegetables to be cooked!"
I don't really know what a doctor would do. First aid for burns is basically "let it heal." I got a very similar burn on my arm a few years ago, and there's not even a scar now, and I generally scar from everything.
Hey, guys.
Morning. Back on the grid. I sent ONE email and had no phone signal all weekend, and it was fantastic!
The kids had so much fun, the weather at our friends house was amazingly SO MUCH BETTER than KS -- we were able to be in the creek in a great shaded place for 5 hours, and there was no sweating on their deck.
It was great. Anyone's who's FB friends, I have pix up.
And now, back to my massive to do list. WOO.
you guys are... I'm pretty sure I have a pinched nerve in my left arm and a 2nd degree burn on my right hand. This was before I logged in today so not suggestible just clumsy and pained like so many of y'all. {{{bitches}}}
and the prescription was "don't sleep on that side" - which is much harder than it sounds.
Oh yeah, I forgot about that part. Crazy how hard it is to stop doing something in your sleep!
Well, I am back to work and healthy. It's a really good feeling. I spent a lot of time this week sympathizing for those who suffer chronic pain. (Both my dad and brother have chronic pain issues and of course, many here.)
It's nice to have my body back.
(And my brain because the creepiest thing about this whole thing was how I kept getting phone numbers and addresses wrong and other stuff that I know well.)
Congrats on being back to work {{{Nonian}}}
So, today is 19 years married for me. We've survived crazy families, eight moves, two kids, four dogs, three cats, and trying to figure out what we want to be when we grow up.
I think we've earned our dinner at Toulouse Petit. [link]
Congratulations Barb. That looks like a delicious restaurant too.
Congratulations, Barb!
