When you look back at this, in the three seconds it'll take you to turn to dust, I think you'll find the mistake was touching my stuff.

Spike's Bitches 46: Don't I get a cookie?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

Good luck on the whole food thing, ND!

Congrats (and good luck) on the substitute teaching thing, Aims!

Now I want an iPhone app. that has Dr. Forrester saying "Push the button, Frank" when the phone rings. If, you know, I had an iPhone.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Hope you enjoy your real food, Drew!

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Could be worse, Raq!

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Keeping fingers crossed for you, ND!

You'll fight, and you'll shag, and you'll hate each other till it makes you quiver, but you'll never be friends.
Spike, 'Lovers Walk'

Dude, I've gotten this quote twice today. WTF? Is it trying to tell me something?

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

We were supposed to write our names on our bookbags for kindergarten. The dot for my i took up half the space.

I wish I could just go somewhere to get flensed but none of the whaling ships near me take Medicare.

Lunch, Drew, lunch!

Congrats on the sub gig, Aims!

Raq, I don't truly need fluency in Swedish & Danish. As I'm sure you know, most young Swedes and Danes know English very very well. But I started them because I was an exchange student for a summer in Denmark in '82. and I've never been able to go to full fluency because I never had the $$ to travel back and stay for an immersion period.

I used to have quite a lot of talent at languages and always wanted to be at least bilingual. But I still count myself as a slightly broad-minded monolingual because I've never had the $ at the right time to travel to an immersion situation. And back when the time was critical for me, the web wasn't around yet to try that instead. So one of my goals for after I moved (clearly I thought this situation was going to work out better than it did) was to start working on my Spanish and get that in shape then move on to the next one. As it is, I've only managed to listen to language podcasts a couple times.

That's the pain / That cuts a straight line down through the heart / We call it love

That is the most exciting "what will I have for lunch" post ever. Best of luck, Drew!

Because it bore repeating! Good luck, Drew!

Oh...forgot to add:

smonster, whip out the light saber app when it comes time to cut the Thanksgiving turkey.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

Good luck, Drew!

I do not like finger moustache tattoos. I also do not have the light sabre or the push the red button apps for the iPhone. I DO, however, have the hypno-wheel app.

I really want to get a new tattoo soon (a silhouette of Clovis, inside an ornate frame), but I don't know if Pete will have time to draw it for me.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Drew--angel food cake with strawberries is fat free, IJS.
