Spike's Bitches 46: Don't I get a cookie?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

The whole experience involved lying in a pool of my own blood and smelling my flesh burn and watching smoke of me dissipate into the air. It was just nasty all the way around.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

How many fibroids is that? Too many fibroids.

I like doctors who will let me see what's going on.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

My insatiable curiousity: Vortex, how much did all that weigh? Are they dense or, I dunno, spongy? You must feel immensely better now!

IMeN, can antihistamines just stop working? I've been taking Benadryl for two days, ever since the gardening yesterday morning, and right now, two hours after taking the last one, I'm sneezing and teary and can't breathe and there's a maddening tickle in the back of my right nasal sinus. This Must Stop. Should I go on and take a different antihistamine?

Occasionally I’m callous and strange

Wow, that does look scarily like popcorn shrimp in BBQ sauce. Glad they are out!

Yikes, ita, that's way too much reality!

Thrive to spite them

ita that is too much reality.

Vortex, you must feel so much better with all of that out of you.

Normally the procedure would have been done under general, but I had no health insurance and the hospital staff was working gratis as a favour to family, so anesthesia was minimal for economic reasons. Whoa.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Yikes, ita!

Good lord, Vortex! And that's not the first time you've had it done, so ...double eek!

I don't know! I wish I knew. Another fun medical fact -- I lost SIX POUNDS with my bowel prep.

Vortex, you must feel so much better with all of that out of you.

well, yes and no. Right now, I'm still so damned bloated that I can't even feel any discomfort from the surgery. BTW, thanks to everyone for the suggestions, but unfortunately, having the incisions on my stomach makes the yoga stretches impossible. And "waiting to fart" is simply an impossibility, no matter what's going on.

Good lord, Vortex! And that's not the first time you've had it done, so ...double eek!

there were fewer last time, I think.
