You might try hot compresses on your face for temporary relief of pain - I find it helps me.
Oh wow, really? When I had a tooth infected I tried putting a heat pad against my face and it literally made me scream out loud it made it hurt so much worse. This wouldn't be directly over the infection site so maybe a different case but just the idea makes me cringe.
If I could roto-root my skull and start with a clean inside, that would be great. (I know that's what the neti pot does in theory, but it hasn't been roto-rooting so well.)
And yet, people keep telling me that trepanation is not a viable answer.

I'm disturbed at how long the ear infection has been going on. I hope in a week I feel like Wonder Woman. Or at least non-ill Teppy.

Hello? Sorry I've been semi- dark for so long. New job doesn't have me sitting in a dark theater waiting for others to do things, like old jobs. So I'm like 3200 posts behind. It's summer now, so a chance to actually be part of the conversation. So I decided to skip ahead. I tried!! But y'all kept talking, and moving the goal posts.
So? What did I miss?
I forgot how utterly disgusting the bowel prep liquid tastes. It starts out okay, but rapidly gets oogy. I am grateful for the tip of mixing it with ginger ale.
Yuck, Vortex. My problem with it was not so much the taste as the sheer volume.

I only have to do 20oz, which is better than last time. Problem is that it gets grosser with every sip, so you need to drink rapidly as much as you can at a stretch to get it down.

I could barely get through have of the prep drink last time I had to drink it. Every sip made me gag.
ETA: I had to do 40 oz, but no way did I get that much down.
Yeah, I didn't get it all down last time. I don't know if I'm doing less because of the type of surgery I'm having, or if this product works better than whatever I had before. Also, it's a very tangy lemon flavor, which helps somewhat.
