'Out Of Gas'

Spike's Bitches 46: Don't I get a cookie?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Hey. New board.

I don't know why that double-posted. Oops.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Two lips, two eyebrows ...

“Not dead yet!”

Skip skip skippity skpping like a mad thing to say I am now the mother of a 15 year-old boy.

Nate's taller than I am, his voice is all deep (except when he's squeaking in outrage) and he'll be spending the afternoon hanging out with the girl from school that he really really likes before we take him to dinner at his favorite burger place.

Fifteen.

Hold me.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Dang, now I'm second guessing myself. This memory foam mattress is gets rave reviews and would be about the same price as what I ended up paying for a regular mattress set. [link]

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Oh, no, buyer's remorse! Kill it! If you're happy with what you bought, smonster, don't worry about it. There's always something that's cheaper or looks like it might be better, but you can only know for sure about what you've got.

not your mom's socks.

So far, I've responded to some business email, gotten HKF to camp with lunch, towel, and swimsuit (the concurrency was Teh hard), called a duct cleaner, and played on the internets from the coffee shop. I have no idea how people work there, but that could have been the Very Chatty people that took key tables near me after I sat down. Now I'm at the eye doc for my first ever appointment, and my first eye check in yonks. Hopefully this will all turn out ok.

Well, but I really really loved the Tempurpedic, and bought the bed I bought on the premise that I'd get a foam topper. But if I can get a highly rated memory foam mattress for slightly cheaper than regular mattress + foam topper, then why not? And I can't pick up the one I bought until Thursday, so the memory foam one might even get here sooner.

Our wings are not tired.

Ooooh if you haven't already has your new mattress set in your home, maybe you can get a refund?

That's what I'm hoping, javachik. I was just going to pick it from the warehouse (StW has a truck and volunteered to help), so there shouldn't even be a restocking fee.

So, seriously, I am going to go thermonuclear on my landlord. No word from him this morning, so I just left him a very testy voicemail and am typing up a written notification, which I'm going to send via registered mail and get a receipt. My neighbor offered to lend me his meter, which he doesn't use (not staying in the place) or just run a straight pipe, but I'm starting to think I might be better off just breaking my fucking lease.

smonster, yes, that's untenable. I am so sorry, since you seemed to like that house so muchly! You've been ridiculously patient.
