The Mayor ,'End of Days'
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

erin, contact dermatitis from cucurbits is not uncommon. Cortisone cream and benadryl are the treatment. In the future, you might try washing with strong soap right after you're in the garden. If that doesn't help, you may need to leave an old long-sleeved shirt by the door.
Regarding the gardening/yard work discussion, it does appear things could be far worse: [link]

That's insane and TCG said there is precedence in that woman's favor.
Happy birthday, Sarameg!
Much health~ma for Byron.
The DH has a fairly common mutation called "Leiden Factor 5"
I think that's what my BiL has. His blood clots ended up in his brain and caused seizures. It scared the heck out of my sister, but they put him on blood thinners for a while and now everything's ok. They tested the two kids to see if they inherited the mutation, and my niece did. Naturally, she's the one most likely to want to fly places.
Byron and I are at the vet. Again. Doctor is doing all kinds of tests. B still won't eat. Worried.
{{{Pix}}} Tons of cat~ma headed your way.
Please feel better, Byron!
