Mal: And I never back down from a fight. Inara: Yes, you do! You do all the time!

Spike's Bitches 46: Don't I get a cookie?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Good call. But I think you can shave a little time off of how long you wait for her not to show at dinners now. Because you were waiting for her, hadn't heard from her and just really needed to get home to rest / get a bite / whatever.

There should be a silver lining here to find.

Well, the symptoms are exacerbated by stress . . .

Much kitty~ma for Byron, Pix. I hope they get the reaction under control and get a clear idea with easy fixes from the tests.

It really hasn't been a fun few days for pets. Kittenish went to the vet for a UTI on Tuesday morning and came back with a need to reweigh her in two weeks because she's dropped a lot of weight.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Vortex, I am glad you finally have a diagnosis and it is one of the less serious one.

The status is NOT quo.

Vortex, I am so glad your diagnosis is a manageable one. I was worried, too.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Count me in on the relief at a relatively minor issue, Vortex. Just knowing what is going on can be such a relief.

I need to have dinner. I ate a slice of cheese and some rice pudding. I could make another quesadilla... hmm.

Oh, and kitty~ma for the sick kitties, and well~ma for the sick humans. I hate a summer cold, I really do.

Our wings are not tired.

Vortex, thank goodness! Very happy that it's relatively minor and no drastic meds or intervention is necessary.

Happy that dread Byron is doling better, too.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Vortex, so glad it's apparently minor.

Byron too. Gracie did a 36 hour disappearing act this week so we've had some cat drama around these parts.

Always Anti-fascist!

Skipping ahead to say: HOAs are absolutely The Devil and bring out the worst in everyone. I've been to two meetings in ten years, cause, you know, Ms. Engaged Citizen Populist. However, by the end, I wanted a small plane to take out the building, even though Mom and me would be collateral damage. sj, therapy is often intense and emotional...especially since, in my experience at least, OTs and PTs are some of the worst about understanding bodily imperfection...you'd think they'd be the best because without it they don't have jobs, but alas.
