I did not know fentanyl was that much stronger than morphine. Good god. They doubled me up on that for my nerve block and I still cried like a baby. I wonder how it ranks with dilaudid.

Spike's Bitches 46: Don't I get a cookie?
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Also, Kate, welcome back! Can't wait to hear stories and see pics.
Thanks, lady! We'll probably get some pics up this weekend. It's weird to be back at work today. Also, less fun than honeymooning.
So glad to hear about your great date with St. Woot! I gather there's some background info I missed (no way I can catch up on two weeks' worth of Bitches & Natter right now) but he sounds very promising.
I used you and your DH as an example tonight of folks who met on OKC.
Yay! It worked for us! I have a couple friends who have just taken the OKC plunge. Here's hoping for good results all around. Is St. Woot an OKC find?
Shower and shave have been achieved. Marginal improvement (at least I don't feel quite as gross). Now to find my motivation. I think the feral dust bunnies at it.
I have reached the Facebook event horizon where I don't want to unfriend anyone but there is too much to keep up with. Stop being so clever and poignant and insightful all the time, people!
I just went to the lake for a few hours, which was nice, but kind of boring alone. I read magazines, I swam back and forth across the swimming area a few times, and then there was nothing else to do.
Frank, a shower is a good good first step. Are you a music person? Sometimes I find that putting on the right music goes a long way towards getting me going. If I'm still too cranky for cheery stuff, I go for the My Chem.
Is St. Woot an OKC find?
Yes he is. I'll send you an email or maybe even call and burble at you.
Laga, you know you can hide people without unfriending them, right?
In "I'm not adult, I just play one on tv" news, my water got turned off. I thought it was staying in my landlord's name (as is common here), but no. My landlord claims he told me this, but I am dubious. He also claims he gave me his address to send my rent check, but I just checked my lease and it's not on there. So I have to go pay a $100 deposit to get the water turned back on. And call the COBRA folks, and open a bank account, and a bunch of other onerous tasks. Here we go!
bleah, adulthood.
I know I can hide people, but how do I get them to stop posting so many things I'm interested in so I don't miss anyting? I'm having Facebook FOMA.
For Frank, and anyone else who needs it (including me): I'm Not Okay (I Promise) [link]
Aw. BOB. God, I love that video, and I haven't seen it in years. Thanks, smonster.
I'll send you an email or maybe even call and burble at you.
Excellent! If you want to call, I've got a dinner thing tonight but should be around after 8:30 or so, and tomorrow night's free. And good luck with the water sitch! I just called our landlord to request, again, that he fix our hot water. Here's hoping for quick resolutions for both of us.
So wishing I could watch that video at work, though I've seen it so many times I could probably storyboard the whole thing from memory...
