You know what they say about payback? Well I'm the bitch.

Spike's Bitches 46: Don't I get a cookie?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Do I want to buy a new bathing suit? I have two, but the metal fasteners on one of them are turning green.

Yes, but make sure to buy a scratch ticket too.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

Vortex, my Choffy came today. Having my first cup right now, no sugar or cream. I'm finding it very smooth, less bitter than coffee in general. It smells really good. The taste is interesting - I like it, but I don't really know how to describe it.

thanks for the review. do you think that it's worth the money?

Trust my rage

WHat is that website where you can make your own crazy ecards?

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

It is for me, as an occasional indulgence not a staple. It's a similar price to what I pay for coffee, and while I don't think it'll become my every day hot drink of choice, I do think I'll like having some on hand as an option. Assuming it keeps well, which I hadn't even thought about.

Dude, I'm a GQMF

I'm going to hear this as "genderqueer motherfucker" in a Samuel Jackson voice, if that's okay with you.

and I was ALL ABOUT the pretty gown when getting married. But, as I've told Paul, I often think I'm doing GQ wrong, due to my acute lack of angst about it. (My whole this is, can't I be both? Occasionally at the same time?)

I think Tim's only angst over it is not being able to be out to his family. Other than that, he tends to not angst too much about it. I know he'd like to dress in public more, but that doesn't fuss him too terribly much.

ION, the sore throat from yesterday turned into a full-on cold today. Bleargh. I knew when Tim's SiL showed up with a cold that I would get it. Stress (and make no mistake, vacation IS stressful) and a shitty, shitty bed make my immune system reduce to approximately one puny white blood cell, which is apparently also on vacation.

The bed is really uncomfortable, so Tim and I have liberated an extra futon mattress and are going to sleep on that, on the floor. And I'm lying on it right now, and it's a damn sight more comfortable than the bed. I don't get how a rental house can justify its exorbitant price tag (seriously, it's outrageous) and have such shitty beds.

Right. But anything "Cocksucker" is Ian McShane.

Always Anti-fascist!

wrod. It looks like the thing my brother has may be psoriasis. he has one more test to confirm it. I hope his is less serious than my friend's(the thing about crip advocacy is it leaves you short of reassuring stories) But it seems less serious than the other ailments being tested for.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

I just made reservations for going to Harpers Ferry and Lexington in August. (There's a math conference in Lexington. Harpers Ferry seemed like a good place to stop on the way.) This should be fun, though a few of the things that I want to do in Harpers Ferry, like the ghost tour, seem like they'd be more fun with other people.

edit: wait, apparently I can't read a map. Need to reconsider something here. I swear that's not where Lexington was the last time I checked.
