Spike's Bitches 46: Don't I get a cookie?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Someone answered the "Who is the most influential person in your life?" question on eHarmony with Bruce Lee. Well, I guess it's better than the people who don't seem to understand the point of the question and just answer Mike or something.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

Is it possible to strain a...collarbone muscle or op a collarbone out of place?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

What's wrong with having a philosopher be the most influential person in your life?

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Vortex, my Choffy came today. Having my first cup right now, no sugar or cream. I'm finding it very smooth, less bitter than coffee in general. It smells really good. The taste is interesting - I like it, but I don't really know how to describe it.

Adding a teaspoon each of cream and sugar -> much closer to hot chocolate taste. That might be too much sugar, actually.

Yes.

Try a hot shower to loosen up the muscles.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

Someone answered the "Who is the most influential person in your life?" question on eHarmony with Bruce Lee.

I know several people who might say this. Through Bruce Lee, they got interested in martial arts, which in some cases led to majoring in something related to the Far East; learning Japanese or a Chinese language; or to living in Japan.

You can injure the ligaments that attach the collarbone to the shoulder. Since it's a new injury, I'd recommend ice. Of course, I always recommend ice.

An improvised sling might reduce the pain, Erin. Or, if you're me, you have several slings from previous injuries.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

And within minutes of the shooting, Lohman said the officers under his watch offered such unbelievable stories that Lohman told them to go cool off and "get their stories straight."

Well, that's timely, since the Chicago PD announced this week a change in policy where officers now have 24 hours (previously was two) to make an official statement following an officer-involved shooting. So that can only end well.
