We're proud to say that the Class of '99 has the lowest mortality rate of any graduating class in Sunnydale history.

Spike's Bitches 46: Don't I get a cookie?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Holy Crehole, Gar. That's a lotta cut and excising on the flesh lately.

So....I'm in Roswell.

Raq, in Roswell, with the Trampoline!

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Ugh Typo, that's an owie. I can say that I had a cyst removed and I can say that the surgery itself should be a breeze (as long as you don't have a sensitivity to local anesthetics--oops!).

"We're all stories, in the end. Just make it a good one, eh?"

Wishing you surgery soon, Typo.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Ouch!

Does it help if you rinse?

I do not know.

I was all happily hanging out platonically with an ex tonight and the weather went from hot and oppressive to cool and raining like the god's required a liquid sacrifice.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

Ugh. Quick surgery and healing~ma, Typo Boy.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

Oh no, Typo Boy! This has been a rough couple of months. I'm sorry. Hope it works out easily and in the meantime doesn't give you much trouble.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Yikes, Typo! Surgery ~ma.

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

I'll go for the quick pain-relief~ma for now, Typo. Everything else falls into place once the pain is dealt with.

I always rinse my beans, not for the sodium, but to help reduce gaseous emissions. I've been buying no salt garbanzos for a while, but I haven't noticed that any other beans offer no salt options. I may have to start paying closer attention.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Does it help if you rinse?

Seconding Typo Boy's yes. I had that conversation during a consult with a dietician regarding the menu at one of the houses I work at. She said it can cut as much as 50%. Re: canned tomato products - read every damn label on every damn can. It can vary widely. Some "crushed" or "puree" varieties come across with 15-30mg sodium per 1/4 c. serving. Dei Fratelli tomato puree is the one I can count on. In addition to Mrs. Dash, McCormick's has a nice line of no-salt-added seasoning blends. Balsamic vinegar and lime juice are two of my low-sodium kitchen best friends.

Back~ma, Teppy.

Speedy relief~ma to you, Typo Boy.

Happy birthday, Hec! (even though we hardly ever see you in here lately)

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I used these canned tomatoes link for tomato sauce. They have some sodium in them naturally but no salt is added. My biggest problem with sodium in my diet is cheese, which has a lot of sodium and which I love way too much.
