Wait, you can't use "gay" to mean "happy" anymore? I thought you just couldn't use "gay" to mean "stupid."

Spike's Bitches 46: Don't I get a cookie?
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Wait, yes, you're right, P-C.
I think good words are all the same but each bad word is bad in its own way.
I feel weird talking about how my family owned an MG Midget when I was a baby.
And I probably put too much emphasis on 'gay' when I'm talking about the "Gay Nineties".
Also I avoid using 'niggardly' despite its unique etymology.
Wow, Mom of Vortex. Wow.
So I met up with this girl, and then she came with me to meet up with a friend in from out of town and I ended up staying out until almost three - the friend from out of town was going straight to the airport. The girl seems cool, but more of a friend prospect.
I did get up to chat with flea and see her off, and then went back to bed. I'm thinking about lying down again, actually. I've got this low-grade headache that will not quit, have had it for days. Might need to go see a chiropractor, see if that helps. Pretty sure it's not dehydration.
Looks like the next OKC meetup will be Thursday evening. Guy.
"I miss using 'gay' to mean happy" and I think those people are assholes.
Well, you CAN use 'gay' to mean 'happy' but those people are generally angry that a perfectly good word has been "ruined" by those "perverts."
Have you located the bird, Ginger? What does the dog say?
I haven't heard the bird, so I'm hoping it swooped out the door. Mr Peabody doesn't seem to sense anything, but he really only cares about rodents and cheese.
Okay, not going to lie down. Going to shower instead. Turns out that another friend who was in town for another wedding this weekend is still here so I'm joining her, her bf, and a mutual friend for lunch. Said mutual friend actually works for my former org, so it'll be good to catch up with him.
Ugh, just got back to the doctor and my BP is high, REALLY high: 156/110. Gotta go back in 2 weeks to get it retaken. Tom's BP was high too, maybe just Louisiana cooking catching up to us? Anyway, must avoid fried foods and watch sodium intake for the next couple weeks- any other tips?
Avoid stress. But then, as my father used to say, "the absence of stress is death"
Yeah, I don't see that happening. I wonder if it could be from the stress of the event planning, but who knows... and now I am SUPER stressed about the BP itself! Ugh.
Yoga and meditation?
I'm not being facetious, btw. Any kind of relaxation techniques can contribute to getttng BP down.
