Mmm, Jack Harkness
Mmmm, indeed. What were we talking about again?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I went for chamomile specifically because it is mentioned as a home remedy for pink eye on a number of websites. Since I used it on both eyes, and this irritation is happening only on one eye, I'm pretty sure it's not the chamomile. But thanks for thinking of me, beth. And I'm with you on being distracted by Captain Jack.
Hmm , I think the tannic acid in plain old black tea is supposed to work better on pinkeye than the herbal recipes. Cheapie lipton works fine for that.
Tannin is a vasoconstrictor, yes? So it would help reduce inflammation, methinks (Google semi-bears me out on this).
Also, I ate salad even though I didn't feel like it, and I've moved about a dozen more boxes out of what will be the other bedroom (another exciting discovery when I was trying to get the animals out of the danger zone - none of the doors latch, much less lock. Awesomecakes) so flea has somewhere to sleep this weekend, and put away more clothes. I get to punch my adult card and go to sleep now, yes?
I'm remembering Cass posting last week, and all I can think is -- I have an hour left of my 30s. I feel like I should go corrupt an 18-year-old.

Oooooops. Man, there are so many little things with a new place, aren't there? I was so psyched that all the rooms had doors, and now... oops!
Pouring rain!!! Yay!

Heh. I mean, that's a minor thing, that I can probably fix myself, if R will buy new knobs or I can score some at The Green Project or Habitat or somewhere. It's nuts, though, the little thingy that would latch is just... gone. I knew there'd be lots of things with the house - I still love it! Don't want you to feel bad that you and K gave me the green light. As I told someone on fb, I'll be learning its charms and quirks for a while. I do dearly wish that R hadn't painted everything with flat paint. Semi-gloss is your friend, dude.
Also, seconding the yay rain! Daily thunderstorms in the summer are only right and proper.

I may be feeling overly responsible for stuff in general these days... hopefully that won't last!

I didn't do that! Well, I posted at the end of my 30s. But I didn't corrupt an 18-year-old!
I will admit that the last bits of my 30s were a little stressful but I faced them with help from you guys (and sparkly, sparkly purple toenails) and 40 kinda has been good so far. You're going to rock 40, Tep.
