Oh, smonster... what a shitty day for you. I hope you get some rest and get clear of that migraine.

Spike's Bitches 46: Don't I get a cookie?
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Yikes, smonster! Def feel your pain - I broke a glass spice bottle (nearly empty and with replacement already in place, thank goodness) my first or second week housesitting. I found a few last shards the sixth week when I was giving the kitchen one last clean before moving back out. Good luck finding the little buggers with your eyes rather than your bare feet!
And I hope the rest of your evening is lovely and chill.
Ugh, smonster. I hope you got all of the glass (eta: damn!) and stave off the headache
And I'd like to be sorry about Wallybee's job but since you don't, billytea, maybe it's just a good thing. Fart for five? Yeah, that'll end in hilarity.
Please to postpone this event until after you have lived a long life.
Well, that is the plan. I just know that everything living, dies. So maybe I, and people I care about and even people I dislike, can be lucky enough to do so painlessly eventually.
But not tonight because I went shopping and there are more strawberries than I wish to consume tonight.

At least once I introduce him to the music of "Five For Fighting".
You must start reading to him from the Walter the Farting Dog series.
Sorry about Wallybee's job.
There's a notice on the library's facebook page. Evidently some one (or people) have been taking their James Patterson and Stephen King novels. They are short 50 and asking if anyone has extras if they'd donate them so that the library doesn't have to replace them all.
The library is small - they have two computers for people to share. I'm pretty sure they don't have any kind of sensor for the books.
May a good opportunity to work somewhere non-toxic and generous with wages and benefits come to Wallybee soon.
I am feeling meh and overwhelmed this morning, which actually carried over from last night. Time to follow the advice I got in my last fortune cookie; "Dispel negativity with creative activities."
I am sure you know this (intellectually at least) but this is totally normal for having done this kind of move. I was exactly where you are, mentally, a year ago.
I swear, I will be a better friend as soon as this damn fundraiser is over.
You're doing great! I am sorry about the Pimms. Wah.
Nora, seriously, anything I can do to help? I know at this point it might take too long to get me up to speed, but I'll do whatever - run errands, pick up stuff, etc. Also, related to the Pimm's incident, can I avail myself of your laundry facilities tomorrow while you're at work? And don't worry, you have been/are/continue to be wonderful. I know that the euphoria was bound to wear off, and I think PMS is kicking in, too. Just having A Day. I also spilled (cold) coffee all over myself, broke a festival chair while sitting in it (not yours), pretty much failed at productivity, and was generally futless.
On a related note, time to review the five stages of culture shock.

EVERYBODY LIVES. Dammit.
t has issues, yes
