Zoe: Nobody's saying that, sir. Wash: Yeah, we're pretty much just giving each other significant glances and laughing incessantly.

Spike's Bitches 46: Don't I get a cookie?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I wish I could just go somewhere to get flensed but none of the whaling ships near me take Medicare.

Having another of those moments when I'm super-annoyed with someone and realizing what they're doing that's annoying me is a trait I have, too. So I'm trying to wallow in how much this makes me annoyed with them so that I realize that it's something I REALLY DON'T WANT TO DO because I don't want people to find me that annoying as well. If only it only took one lesson like this to change my behavior. It takes more, but at least it's a step.

Occasionally I’m callous and strange

mmmm, i had a delightful salad of fresh sliced fennel with oranges last week.

my only negative experience with licorice was accidentally buying a box of the double-salted dutch variety. The cashier gave me a very odd look while i was checking out but said nothing. I got home, opened it, popped one in my mouth, and nearly turned inside out. Then of course i had to trick everyone else in the house to try a piece. Next time i went o that sweet shop the cashier told me she was surprised i didn't return the stuff. Oh no, i had to inflict it on my friends and coworkers.

I think that perhaps lightly salted licorice would be intriguing, but that double-salted stuff made me rinse out my mouth twice with water, drink a glass of water, then brush my teeth and gargle with mouthwash before drinking another glass of water. It should have a big warning sticker on the box.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

My ex-husband worked his way through Harvard by crewing on an Alaskan fishing boat. He worked on a small boat where the captain kept himself awake on long watches by eating licorice, which he hated.

Calli: My people have a saying. A man who trusts can never be betrayed, only mistaken.Avon: Life expectancy among your people must be extremely short.

Bonny, sorry about the latest setbacks. Please get better.

Pix so glad ND is improving. Sorry he's still stuck in the hospital but, yay for improved numbers.

omnis, pursue. That's an order from a shy woman who can use M-16. - Shir

Bonny, hang in there, You'll get better here, I can feel it!

ND, great to hear your numbers on the rise. Hopefully these two shows will be self sufficient quickly so I can come up and visit.

Shir, how you doing over there? Hopefully illness is waning, and all out of you.

Erin, that is a fab response to a personals ad! Maybe I should bribe you to write my profile.

That cannon was sweet! I wonder if those are BB's?

Loved that Green Lantern DIY!

Long weekend is done. Exhausted. Today, the pedometer says I walked about 4,000 yard. That explains why I'm so tired. Not sure when I'm getting a day off. Hopefully Saturday. That said, as we got the system all working, and doing the verb effect with the singing group, it was cool to see the wonderment in the students eyes at how cool it sounds, and the excitement/accomplishment of getting it all to work.

"And that's why God Almighty gave us fire insurance and the public defender".

Good luck with cute girl, omnis! job~ma to Erin and Aims. {{bonny}}, much health~ma. And kill insomnia fairy~ma to Pix.

Me, in short:

I'm better, but still trying to get rid of the leftovers of fever. I'm also trying to shake off the migraine which started last night first. Managed to transform it to mild cloud of headache only with the magical drug-and-anti-migraine-essential-oil (which is fab combination). Sadly, it's not anti-fever. I'm trying to understand what brought these migraines on me all of the sudden.

There's plenty I want (and need) to do today, but I'm trying to take it easy, one by one. First thing's first - clean the fucking room.
