Of course, today I am eating linguini and red sauce as I haven't eaten much in days and it is the only thing I really want to eat.
Stoopid bronchitis is stoopid.
I codeined through my cousin's wedding though, and that's all that really matters. It was beautiful.
Thanks, Bev. I did finish the floor in one room, and it looks enough better that I might keep going, 15 minutes at a time. I also picked up trash in the yard for about 10 minutes, including a 10kg weight, broken mop, and a dog skull. Now very sweaty and taking a break. I'm no sarameg, but I do want this place to look nice, even if I don't own it. I'm putting a grabber on my wishlist, because some former tenant dropped a shedload (nice word, btw) of beer cans and bottles in the gap between side fences.
I'm reading the salt discussion while scarfing down movie theater popcorn for dinner. Hmmm. Probably best not to think about it for now.
Pix, I hope your back is better today.
Vortex, I’m sorry things with your mother continue to be so difficult.
quester, much ~ma for your sister.

Much ~ma and hugs to anyone I missed.
We're going out with friends for dinner tonight, otherwise it was going to be a take out kind of night.
I started birthday celebrating early today with Mom. We went shopping and she bought me some super comfy pjs and a wonderful black and white blazer.
I brought my computer to the Apple Store today. Supposedly, I will have it back and working in 5-7 days.
Thanks sj, and thanks to you guys for putti g up with the whining. Am now in the restaurant where we are supposed to have dinner (for my birthday which I didn't want to do in the first place). She hasn't shown. Will now send guilty text. It's a win. For a 10 minute drive, I can now feel superior.
Some health~ma for my kitty would be appreciated. He's been lethargic and puky for the past couple of days. I'll be heading to the vet's in about 45 minutes.
Oh Vortex. I'm so sorry about continued Mom drama. Hang in there.
Also, it is javachik's birthday! Happy birthday, gorgeous!
ETA: Kitty-ma, Anne.
Kitty-ma.
Because if you did, you have enough with the latter to make the panzanella caprese from the buffista cookbook.
Man, I really want this right now.
Dammit. I have to call my parents. Like, oh, a week ago. But I HAVE to do it because I am flying there on ... Friday. My procrastination is not amusing. I suspect they are feeling superior right now. Which is partially accurate but partially weird because, dude, you could call me too.

Go you!
Thanks, Pix. I enjoyed the Facebook Wall of Birthday today. :)
