In Ryan's continuing linguistic development, he now uses the proper tones when speaking Chinese. From an English-speaker's perspective, this is quite awesome, like this is the first thing in which he surpasses me. In English development, he's now comfortable stringing together two words at a time, and he now knows both "koala" and "kangaroo" (which he calls "karoo").
Oh! And I did my exam on Friday, another semester over. So that's nice.
Well Done Ryan with the linguistics and Good Job billytea for another semester accomplished.
And oh, that reminds me: Station wagon love!

Go Ryan!! And billytea!
Drama camp! That sounds fabulous!
This is a new one for me. I've done one the past 2 years at another venue with mostly former students. I'll be co-directing with a friend at a new venue with mostly new kids. I'd be more excited about it if I wasn't still wrapped up in the current school year.
And who doesn't love zombies and shakespeare!
I know, right??
Drama camp! That sounds fabulous!
They had two different musical camps going on in Albany (where Emmett goes to school) for this summer. One of them was doing Willy Wonka as a stage show/musical and that's what your eight weeks of summer camp was all about: learning the show, making the production, putting on the show.
An older age group was doing West Side Story.
ChiKat, zombies and Shakespeare sounds like a lovely way of spending the summer.
bt, congrats on passing the exam, and good on Ryan for learning how to be more amazing than he already is.
~ma to you, ND! Good luck!
Best of luck to ND and Joe!
I have gas! The hot water kind, not the Bean-o kind. Now I just have to scrub my nasty tub. But first, afternoon nap. Yes.
Meeting-ma to ND, but not sure he needs it, since the dude has got the mad skillz.
