Spike's Bitches 46: Don't I get a cookie?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

move out and draw fire

I just killed 2,200 people. Oops.

Better find out in a simulation.

I'm making airline reservations for Mal to fly by himself(!!!) to visit his grandfather. Onerous task day for me!

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Floods have continued to be a concern for Johnstown. Johnstown has experienced additional major flooding in subsequent years, including 1894, 1907, and 1924. The most significant flood of the first half of the 20th century was the St. Patrick's Day Flood of March 1936, which also reached Pittsburgh and became known as the Great Pittsburgh Flood of 1936.

More recently, on the night of July 19, 1977, a relentless storm reminiscent of 1889 bombarded the watershed above the city and the rivers began to rise. By dawn, the city was under water that reached as high as 8 feet (2.4 m). The seven counties disaster area suffered $200 million in property damage and 80 lost lives, 40 of which were caused by the Laurel Run Dam failure. Another 50,000 were rendered homeless as a result of the "100 year flood". Markers on one corner of City Hall at 401 Main Street show the height of the crests of the 1889, 1936, and 1977 floods.

At what point do you say "maybe this isn't the greatest spot to put a town"?

You are aware that he is going to charm everyone on his planes, right? And possibly expects to get to pilot?

Trust me, they are not the worst. When I moved neighborhoods, I got redlined into having to use "Broadstripe" which is suckier than comcast. It's ridiculous. I would HAPPILY go back to comcast.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

I got to the end of the thread! And now I'm too tired to say anything! Except Nora, yes, I have an air mattress.

Gris, good luck with the move!

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

On the other hand, funicular railways rule!

Who are we kidding, funicular anythings rule! The word is just so fun to say.

Pun intended. And you're what? Shocked and disappointed? I'm evil.

Our wings are not tired.

Congrats, Gris.

I seek a sweet submissive woman.

Ok, I think I might have hurt myself here. For the next few days, if I need a little pick me up, Imma gonna visualize the dude laying that line on Vortex, in person.

"We're all stories, in the end. Just make it a good one, eh?"

Evening, all! I missed you while away - I had no wi-fi in my hotel. I am proud of having survived ALL of the following: walking frame broken by airline on the flight over, inaccessible hotel room which meant we had to run around finding another hotel and then move, in-laws, brother-in-law's wedding at a beautiful setting overlooking the beach, utterly superb weather, more in-laws, the beach the beach the wonderful beach, much more in-laws, about 15 mystery insect bites (probably a spider) to which I appear to be allergic, fairly awful flight on which I was refused a seat where I could walk to the toilet and then I threw up and then I nearly passed out and had to lie down which is tricky on a plane. Mainly, the beach and the weather *really* helped with the surviving of things. Except that was where the mystery bites came from. Otherwise, fantastic. And I got to see Shir! Who is still as awesome as ever, and appears to be just about surviving her last undergraduate exam season. And is awesome. Go Shir.

I have white wine.
