Nice acronym, Mom!

Buffy ,'Showtime'

Spike's Bitches 46: Don't I get a cookie?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Hey. New board.

I joined a listserv for East Nashville, the neighborhood I'll be moving to, which looks like it's going to be an awesome resource, but I keep getting slapped in the face by little reminders that I have to stop taking liberals for granted.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

Congratulations, Gris! Good luck with the move and the baby stuff.

Ah, yeah, that's an adjustment -- it was the same for me, moving from Massachusetts. But I expect East Nashville is much like my neighborhood, politically, which is a little liberal bubble.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Congratulations, Raq! And Gris!

For those who have BBC America, they are rerunning the whole series starting this Saturday.

I am thinking of picking it up. I watched a little of it original run but not all. Perhaps I can even get ahead with Netflix OnDemand once they show the first two hours on tv. I need to be hooked, people. Don't have the intro not be available OnDemand. I won't watch any of it, it seems.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

I thought that you all would be amused to know that I just got an OKCupid message from a guy that basically said he would like to get to know me. I clicked on his profile and the first line was:

I seek a sweet submissive woman.

BWAHAHAHA!! I sent him a very nice message thanking him for his interest.

Hahah! Oh, the images of what you would do to the poor man, Vortex!

Yay Gris! Moving to a new city and having a baby and owning a home, oh my!! Good luck with all three and yay for it being a city where there is an awesome buffista, who should be able to reassure your wife that we are not all creepy or serial killers. :)

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I seek a sweet submissive woman.

Bwah! That is the best laugh I have had all day. Thank you for that.

Gris, congratulations and good luck with the move!

My PT re-evaluation went well today! They're dropping me down to 2 days a week, which means I need to get better about doing my exercises at home on my off days.

I seek a sweet submissive woman.

Maybe he wants to know if you know of one?

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

I love it when someone gives me flowers. If someone showed up on a first (or any) date with flowers for me, I would just be delighted; it wouldn't occur to me to think about it further than, "How sweet!"

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

So you're trying to do all the major life changes at one time, Gris?

I get to Nashville every few months, because my mother is there, and I keep thinking I'd love to meet up with Kate. It's just hard to get away from Mom. If you're interested in the history of anything in East Nashville, my mother grew up there and still gets together with East High alumni. She is somewhat bemused by the gentrification of East Nashville, since when she was growing up, it was the wrong side of the river.
