[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Wow, bonny, I'm glad you're still here. What an ordeal.

I'm so sorry you and Drew are going through such hard, physical traumas. Pain, discomfort, terror, frustration...it's a bad a cocktail.

Here's to everybody's health. Be well, my friends.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Thanks, Nicole. She's made so much progress. But it's still really tough.

Judging from Mr. Peabody and Ginger, Darby will get there. I'm sure she'll always be twitchy about a few things, but she's lucky to have found you. You are her safe harbor.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

Oh, God, bonny, how terrifying, from beginning to end. I'm glad you are home recovering, and so very glad you got yourself in to the ER in time.

When I came home last night, my friends had stocked the fridge (Blessed Applesauce!!) and set up an Isak Dinesen inspired beside table. It's so elegant and lovely with a beautiful Chinese lamp, handmade basket for tissues, my reading glasses and my favorite orchid.

Oh, bless them, that sounds like such a good homecoming. And yay for Bartleby being someplace where he's cared for and happy, but I hope you can bring him back home soon soon soon. Even as much work as it is to care for a dog, his presence will do you so much good.

brillig

Went to PetsMart today. Made the mistake of going by the adoption section. I can ignore, with difficulty, the crying doggies, but the Siamese kitten that was just sitting and staring at me from his cage . . . Damn, I miss Amon.

Our wings are not tired

Bonny, glad to hear that you are back home.

I'm still on the long slow road of recovery but all my stats are headed in the right direction now. Today marks two weeks in the hospital.

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

{{{bonny}}} So glad you went in when you did!

Said it elsewhere, but happy happy birthday, Trudes!

ETA: Continued ~ma to you, Drew! What an effed up ordeal!

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

Bonny, that is so scary! I am so glad you are feeling better, and are at home.
