I had a Dream about Jon Hamm last night. I blame this photo shoot [link]

Spike's Bitches 46: Don't I get a cookie?
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
I cannot believe I missed being at school with Jon Hamm by one lousy year...
Today, I went to the post office, then took a nap, then went to the book store, then sat on my porch reading for a while. Tomorrow will be putting together class notes (trig review -- ugh), cleaning, grocery shopping, and some cooking.
I have been so occupied today. It's been good. I needed some distraction. I made my quilt square for my quilt class, then went to class, to the post office, other errands, came home and made a little wall hanging for a friend. Now I'm gonna get some dinner (and hopefully eat it for a change) and chill for the evening, since I'll probably be up at 5am again. And, if so, I'll go do laundry then.
I read that as "made a square for my guilt class", and was like "is that some kind of therapy thing? Does it work? I could use less guilt sometimes..." :)
After sleeping in until almost 2pm (14 hours of sleep!) I have now gone to Trader Joe's and the coffee shop. I should be gardening (my tiny side yard is ridiculously overgrown), but instead am eating and watching House.

Heh.
I've cleaned, hit the gym, done a load of laundry, and spent far too much time searching out far too little fic featuring Jim Sterling from Leverage. In 15 minutes I'll be heading out to a friend's birthday party. He's a new dad whose daughter is barely a month old, if that, so I don't foresee a wild bacchanal lingering into the wee hours. Not really a problem for me, as I'm a bit weary anyway. And the party gives me a reason to wear some lovely steampunk earrings a friend brought me from Dragoncon.
Happy Birthday, Trudy!!!
Happy Birthday, Trudy!
And Typo Boy, haven't the Whedonverse taught you anything? Go for the pain, not for the kill. That's a kind of pacifism I can relate to. We want him to repent his sins and learn a lesson, not to die within a minute. Where's a fun in that?
I vote we make the guy attend the next F2F prom wearing a name tag saying who he is. Also, we should make him wear a really unflattering polyester leisure suit, and make him drink 3.2 beer. I'm pretty sure the dirty looks alone would cause repenting.
Owie. Everything from my neck down hurts (especially my hands), but it's so so worth it. The aches come from giving Drew the best get well present we on the HHN install crew could think of - giving him the most amazing, ass-kicking performance any of his crews have ever delivered for him.
Sean, I love that you are doing this with that attitude.
Sean: oatmeal bath.
That Aveeno Colloidal Oatmeal bath stuff can be made at home with 1/2 cup of oatmeal and a food processor or blender, and a couple of minutes.
