Hey, whatever it takes, Hil--I once took vicodin left over from wisdom tooth removal in order to avoid going to the ER with a broken arm until morning.
I am eating tomato and mozzarella from TJ's, but the tomatoes are some kind of tiny grape tomatoes with a name like "sugar sweet" or something, and ...DAMN they ARE sugary. Like, taste like dessert. That is not how I want a tomato to taste.
That reminds me; I need to buy tomato plants and more potting soil this weekend. And some mixed salads greens seeds.
And plant morning glory and sunflowers.
And wood mulch.
THE GLAMOROUS LIFE
It is if your name is gabor
Darlin' I love you but give me Park Avenue.
Am in CT dreading the days ahead. I feel sort of like a bad daughter/sister- I made plane and hotel reservations last week when I thought I'd be visiting my grandma, and now the family is setting up at a different hotel, which is more expensive and not as nice. I elected NOT to change my reservations, thinking I'd need the mental space as well... but I feel kinda guilty about it.
PS, I miss New Orleans. Wah.
Nora, I think protecting your mental space during grieving is a good thing, not a cause for guilt. But for me guilt is one of my go-to emotions when I'm grieving.
Take care of yourself. Peace to you.

Because it bears repeating. I am so sorry about your grandma, love. Keep yourself well and you'll be able to help those you love even better. Much ~ma to you and your family, sweetheart.
Nora, you ARE with your family. Where you sleep doesn't matter.
Good thoughts to you, love.
ita was around yesterday; anyone have an update from her?
