I don't fancy spending the next month trying to get librarian out of the carpet.

Spike's Bitches 46: Don't I get a cookie?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Also, I now own a Darth Vader spatula: [link]

Hil, I just got that for my brother, along with the cookie cutters, for his birthday. He's in a cooking club, so I'm hoping that they are useful as well as amusing.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

That's good on the evaluations! Probably everybody says too much homework.

The other thing with erasing, would be to see if you could structure the lessons where the students are doing something or occupied during the transitions. We spend a lot of time erasing, too. Well, actually we spend a lot of time drawing staves back after having just erased them.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Much ~ma for Fay's little sister! May it be nothing.

Steph, I wish you good luck on tapering off Welbutrin. My anxiety calmed down, and my sleep cycle normalized, and it was just better. I'm not taking anything now (except supplements), haven't been for months, and I'm slowly starting to believe that I might be okay. I hope it all goes as well for you. Good luck with your Aetna woes, too.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

My sleep and anxiety are exactly why I'm going off it. At the appointment today, we talked about it, and I decided to just taper off it but not start another AD. Because I can always go back in to the doctor if I need to.

Now if the insurance/IUD problem gets worked out, and the Coffee Laptop starts up, I'll be ahead of the game.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Definitely not enough ativan. The last MRI I had was maybe 15 years ago, and I do not remember it being that loud. I do not handle noise well at all, and extremely loud noise while trapped in a very small space. Not good. I managed to keep it together to just get the MRI done, but I became hysterical after and I can still barely calm down. Thank goodness Mom is here.

I'm supposed to go back in 2 more weeks for another one, and I don't know how I am going to manage it. Not to mention that I am embarrassed to go back there.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

{{{sj}}}

I know it doesn't help with the actual anxiety about the procedure itself, but please don't worry about the embarrassment: it's way common for people to get freaked by the noise and claustrophobia (at least according to what I hear from friends in health care), and MRI techs have seen it all as a result.

Punishingly Intricate

Can you ask your doctor for a mild sedative to take beforehand?

I know. Mom said the same thing.

I see my PCP tomorrow, so I'll talk to her about it.
