Wesley: Feng Shui. Gunn: Right. What's that mean again? Wesley: That people will believe anything. Actually, in this place, Feng Shui will probably have enormous significance. I'll align my furniture the wrong way and suddenly catch fire or turn into a pudding.

Spike's Bitches 46: Don't I get a cookie?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Your pictures dancing, or it didn't happen.

Look at this. I give and I give, and is it appreciated? No, it is not.

I don't think I have the right software to make my pictures dance anyway.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Wallybee cracked up uncontrollably, and now claims that Dipsy dances exactly like me. She's started calling me Telehubby. I'm not at all convinced this is conducive to a harmonious society.

You know that woman is amazing, right! So. freakin. hilarious!

Hee. She claims she wasn't at all like this before she met me. I remain unconvinced; she's too good at it!

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

I think the blame, clearly, lies on whomever has a television screen in his tummeh.

What IS the Mandarin for "Again! Again!"

Thrive to spite them

smonster after my whole moving across country ordeal my suggestion is seriously look at not taking furniture and shipping your stuff.

I'd also check with UPS to see how much it would cost to ship those 2 pieces freight in addition to shipping all your other things. Then see how much it would cost to replace stuff.

Then check out the options for UHaul's U-Pack and POD. And compare prices.

If I had it to do over I would have shipped my stuff and sent 1 chair freight and then just dealt with the air mattress/camp chair/tv tray set up I had until I replaced everything.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

I'm sure Hil's hiccups went away and she got a good night's sleep but for future reference- the surest way I've found to cure hiccups is swallowing a tablespoon of sugar. I don't enjoy it so I always try holding my breath, drinking a glass of water & then drinking upside down but if those three don't work the sugar always does.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

I am LOSING MY MIND. Fucking Aetna still refuses to acknowledge that we're covered. There is no way I'm going to be able to get the IUD procedure done before the end of the month.

I'm at the point where I might just have to pay an enormous amount out of pocket and then hope that Aetna reimburses me (which I frankly don't have any faith that they will).

Seriously. It's the 23rd of the month. We have been in their system as "not covered" for more than 3 weeks of this month. This is insane.

Yuck, Steph. What a pain. In the past my doctor has gone to bat for me with my insurance company. Does your doc have any advice?

Well, it's not a situation where Aetna won't cover a certain necessary procedure, despite having coverage; it's a situation where Aetna is saying we are not covered by them at all.

I don't see any way that my doctor can get Aetna to fix our company's info to reflect that we are covered.
