Spike's Bitches 46: Don't I get a cookie?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I may have to. It seems that my landlord is moving to sell the building...and is being very cagey about it.

I figure it is better to be prepared than get caught out.

I have lived here for 12 years and have ZERO desire to move. At the same time, back in the days when I DID move, it was a great opportunity for off-loading.

I'm not a collector, so don't have that much, but what I DO have, I want to make the most of.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

The other huge thing I learned is that I can't trust everyone I thought I could trust, so I'll be a lot more careful about talking about any of this at work. I'll vent here instead. Aren't you all lucky?

I'm in favor of pretty much anything that will bring you here at any given time. I am also in favor of everyone feeling safe to vent here, because that means it is ok for me, too. However, I'm not in favor of you feeling so stressed out. So thbbbbpt on the new teachers.

"We're all stories, in the end. Just make it a good one, eh?"

Pix, I'm really sorry to hear about the work politics. I was assistant head of a department for a while, which was a total politics nightmare, so I can relate. I hope it improves.

Huge yay for the job interview, smonster! Much interview~ma for the day itself.

Wedding Day #1 of 2. Today we do the legal bit (which isn't particularly romantic, but LGBT people in the UK did fight for the right to form civil partnerships, so yay that!), then our families meet (I may be sick). Should be an interesting day...! Happily, I have a hotel room with (another) massage and a manicure awaiting me in between.

Keep up the no-rain~ma! They've changed the forecast from thunderstorms to scattered showers, so it's working!

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Happy legal civil partnership day, Seska! Woo!

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

Happy weekend o' wed!

I am 'in a civil partnership'. It was a fab little brief ceremony. It is not raining. I am going to the hotel to get my nails done and probably find vodka. I love The Girl! (Who has abandoned me to set up the site for tomorrow!)

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Congrats, Seska!!

Congratulations Seska and TG!!!
