Pix, all kinds of ~ma for you today. Peace, calm, no-stress, sunny happiness.
Seska, here's wishing you good skies for this weekend!
'Safe'
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Dean, unfortunately, will try and eat anything
Had to check and make sure this wasn't the Supernatural thread.
In other news, the Episcopalian bishop of Washington, John Bryson Chane, has written a letter (published in the church newsletter) supporting same-sex marriage.
Erin made us a beautiful one when we got married; it's proudly displayed in our dining room.
Thanks all. It's really been a crappy week. Last night I got home around five, fed the pets, and then flopped on the couch, intending to relax for an hour and then get some more work done. Instead I fell asleep at 5:30, woke up at 7:30 still so tired I could barely drag myself off the couch. I stumbled into the bathroom, took my meds, put on jammies and then crawled into bed, where I slept all night. Poor Byron ended up stuck outside in the yard all night, and Kaylee got to sleep on the bed with me since I never put her in the crate. The worst part is that when I got up at 5:30, I was still tired. I'm so drained, physically and emotionally. And the thing is, it's not like what's going on right now is really all that bad. It's just adding up.
I think it would be pretty awesome to have all the guests gather round in a circle with large, protective umbrellas. Talk about community involvement!
That's a nice image! We haven't decided what to do yet, but the umbrellas are being delivered to the venue. If nothing else, it will look very thoughtful as we hand them out to guests to use when crossing between buildings and marquee!
I had a massage. It has helped the stress somewhat. Now I just have to pack for tomorrow and write a speech. I do not know what to say. I will be too busy eating cake for speeches (and The Girl is too awesome for words. She's gone to the shops to buy a gazebo for the electric piano and a black umbrella for the priest. Our lives, they are odd).
ETA: I hope you get to feeling a bit better soon, Pix.
Oh Seska, I'm sorry. I meant to say best wishes and hang in there. So exciting (and stressful)!
No worries at all, Pix! We cross-posted/edited, but I wanted to wish you better. Thanks for the good wishes!
Having umbrellas is the surest way to fend off rain.
I believe the appropriate speech is: "The girl is too awesome for words. Let's eat cake."
That's really rather good.
Certainly addresses all the important points.
Deep breaths, Seska-- it'll all be good.
And Pix, all the ~ma in the world to you. Feel better and hopefully, today won't be too terrible.
I believe the appropriate speech is: "The girl is too awesome for words. Let's eat cake."
Precisely what I was going to advise.
