Yellow pages or google for 'emergency vet.' Every 24 hour vet has a help line.
The problem is that pet poison lines charge you a huge fee before they'll even talk to you.

Dean, unfortunately, will try and eat anything. He also has digestive issues and only eats 1 type of cat food and needs FortiFlora supplements.
Maddie was smart enough to ignore pills on the floor.

Okay, I'm finally looking at this COBRA schtuff. I have until the end of June to send it in, and it's retroactive, and I don't have to prove I'm insurable, and I have 45 days after date of election to pay my first premium ($335). Soooo... is there any reason I shouldn't wait a while*? I might not need it, and I'm short on cashola at the moment.

I'm dealing with COBRA but my dealings have been pretty wacky. I do know that if you don't pay it and wait you won't have coverage for that time. If you have to go to the doctor or get a prescription filled you can be reimbursed.
But if you have any prescriptions you take make sure you get it filled before you go t COBRA. Otherwise if there's a gap between when you pay COBRA and your regular coverage you'll have to pay out of pocket. If you don't know how much something would be out of pocket you can contact your pharmacy and ask them. You can get reimbursed for it, you'll just have to wait.

Heard from the vet - they said that Dean should be fine. That he wasn't near exceeding the dose - unless he ate a lot more of them. And that he may have some vomiting or diarrhea.
