That's beautiful. Or taken literally, incredibly gross.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

And none of us deserving the cruelty or the grace -- Leonard Cohen

Tep, I'm working on it, thanks. I sent out a bunch of emails, but unfortunately my tolerance for looking at a computer screen right now is low. If only I had my iPhone!

My boss just brought me home, and then she was bringing her husband home, and then she was going to be the only person in the office, due to student move-out, me leaving early, one person out sick, and one on vacation. I sent her an email, but I don't know if she'll be able to get away.

I'm hoping smonster or Calli will be able to get it, but it gets complicated if my boss isn't there, because the door will be locked and it's coded. Would be easier if, well, I had a phone. Bah. This screen is too bright. Need to go to sleep. Who needs a phone when they're sleeping, anyway? It'll still be there tomorrow. I need to be a little less in love with my iPhone.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

amyth, I hope you feel better and someone can get your phone for you.

G definitely has the steroid munchies. He just ate 2 sandwiches when usually I'm begging him to finish one.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

G definitely has the steroid munchies.

I'm right there with him. My last steroid dose was this morning, and I am SO TIRED of wanting to eat everything that can't outrun me.

DEENA! Yay!

Hubby has gone for decades without a gallbladder, and that loss has never bothered him. May you feel terrific again!

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

amyth, I'm sorry you are hurting. Having a phone is a good thing, very useful for many practical things, even if your iPhone happens to be fancy and have lots of frivolous uses, it still has that practical function. So you know, not a silly desire to have it with you.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

amyth got her phone back. I was going to go get it, but her boss sent another co-worker by with it.

Compassionately intolerant

I am SO TIRED of wanting to eat everything that can't outrun me.

I only wish I had the steroid excuse for this current trend. Sigh.

Thrive to spite them

I need some major ~ma. My COBRA situation is really fucked up. I'm still not getting a straight answer. But I'm outside the HMO's coverage so I can't get the HMO.

According to at least one person I've talked to BC/BS is not an option. According the same person even though there's no coverage for me to pay for I can't get my money back.

I spoke to a supervisor who is "researching" the situation. But at this point, I just want to take my chances and see if I can qualify for the VT state plan. The monthly cost of the COBRA is about the same as my medication out of pocket.

I'm still reeling over the fact I was told by one person that even though there is no coverage option and they just got my payment I couldn't get my money back at all. I've been told so many different things by so many different people I don't even know what to believe now.

Hurrah for amyth's boss and coworker!

askye, I don't even know what to say. That bugs the hell out of me on your behalf.

Askye not a lawyer but that does not sound legal. Provide coverage or give money back.
