Y'all see the man hanging out of the spaceship with the really big gun? Now I'm not saying you weren't easy to find. It was kinda out of our way, and he didn't want to come in the first place. Man's lookin' to kill some folk. So really it's his will y'all should worry about thwarting.

Spike's Bitches 46: Don't I get a cookie?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift

Congratulations to Wallybee!

Barb, I think that is why they make handbaskets. I'd cheerfully ride to hell in one for that last paragraph.

Are we sure Matilda isn't half-Italian, instead of half-Greek? That is worthy of Sonny Corleone.

Our wings are not tired.

Congrats to Wallybee!

Doggy! Very nice, Plei.

Go, Matilda!

The vet sent Brandy a birthday card. Doggy dreams of steaks and fire-hydrants and such.

Compassionately intolerant

"NO, Mommy." Her voice got steely. "I mean, tell me their names."

Which I declined to do, because I don't want to be inadvertently responsible for my 4-year-old carrying out hits on half of Northern California.

I sort of got chills while I was guffawing over Matilda's...um...enthusiasm.

I want her on my team.

Plei, what a lovely creature. Congrats on the new family member.

The couple who kept Bartleby while I was not!almost dying last year lost their 13.5 year old Greyhound on Saturday. Darius was champion racer for more than 6 years. Reaching his age, in pretty good health until the last day, was a real blessing.

God love them. They've, so far, given 7 retired Grey's the most loving home possible. Their 3 year old, Goose, has become a shop dog, until they decide on who next to bring home. So Bartleby and I go out for a mid-day walk with him. The Goose-man is never happier than on a leash, walking with other dogs. And, what a walker! He's so calm and easy. Puts my little guy to shame.

Where do you come from? Where do you go? What is your scene, baby? We just gotta know.

Beautiful, Plei.

Damn, I knew there was something I forgot.

Plei, that greyhound is beautiful and I'm so happy she's found a home with your family.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Plei, the greyhound is gorgeous. Does she have a name yet?

"I mean, tell me their names."

Bwah! It's a good thing she's on our side. Also, I like your voice.

And none of us deserving the cruelty or the grace -- Leonard Cohen

Daisy. Lily had a hand in that. :)

Matilda is wee, but mighty.
