Wesley: Feng Shui. Gunn: Right. What's that mean again? Wesley: That people will believe anything. Actually, in this place, Feng Shui will probably have enormous significance. I'll align my furniture the wrong way and suddenly catch fire or turn into a pudding.

Spike's Bitches 46: Don't I get a cookie?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

And I want to very much thank you for that.

"And that's why God Almighty gave us fire insurance and the public defender".

A question for the librarians hivemind: I'm looking information about MA programs that will allow me to gain a degree in librarianship, and that will accept an anthropological approach for the thesis. For those who are wondering how do I relate between the two: structural and post structural anthropology deal with systems of classification. Me: a creature with an information sorting fetish. Librarianship studies: classification systems of information, hooray!

Since I know that at times, mostly in the states, there are programs for direct PhD after you gain the undergrad (in Israel it's different), I guess I can hear about them as well.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Oh, good. Always a dicey proposition, but I felt I had relevant experience and did my best to stay calm and factual.

He listens to Rush, so I doubt it will get through, but it is worth a shot.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

I... don't even know how that factors in.

Punishingly Intricate

Ha! I was thinking "What does Canadian prog rock have anything to do with it?"

I typed up something to post in response but deleted it because your comments are so calm and well written, sj. The subject makes me to ragey to respond in a way that doesn't contain many curse words.

I meant Limbaugh, if that wasn't clear and it was just short hand for thr fact that he leans pretty far to the right at the moment.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

smonster, I'm so glad you chimed in on sj's fb, because it was an excellent response (whether it'll be heard or not) and also because I otherwise would've been much less awesome. And I had NO IDEA that he was family and would've subsequently had to dig a hole to go crawl into and die.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

What does he think of the fact that it was Log Cabin Republicans who sued to get DADT overturned? And that Obama is opposing them?

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Ha! I was thinking "What does Canadian prog rock have anything to do with it?"

THANK GOD NOT JUST ME.
