This is a time of celebration, so sit still and be quiet.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

I'm of the opinion there's no such thing as needless worrying. I'd rather be accused of mother-henning than gloss over something that turns out to be a real problem.

Occasionally I’m callous and strange

can ibuprofen help with the discomfort of a uti?

I feel like i'm being nibbled to death by ducks today. Conjunctivitis in my eye, annoying itchy dandruff, urethral agony, chills and shivers. Yeah, i just want today to be done. Can today be over already? No, 6.5 more hrs? Arggggggggh

erin, there's some OTC stuff that helps with the discomfort of a UTI. I can't remember what it's called, but it's little red tablets. They turn your pee orange!

I'm totally ok with orange pee if it doesn't make me miserable! Thankfully ibuprofen, standing, and massive quantities of cranberry concentrate seem to be helping. Well, that and i haven't visisted the bathroom in more than 10 minutes. woot.

I think it might be called Uristat?

Thrive to spite them

I'm currently posting this from the couch at The Alchemist. Current wait half hour. But I couldn't come thru watwebury and not stop. Also hit up ben and jerry's. Me Mom and Will I mean.

The status is NOT quo.

Uristat is the best thing ever invented for UTIs. It will interfere with test results if you're planning to get antibiotics, though. Just make sure you haven't taken any for at least 12 hours if you have a test scheduled.

Actually, half and hour's not a bad wait for 5:30 on a Saturday. That place gets packed as soon as it opens.

Have some beer! Also, it's really hard to recommend what to eat, because I've loved everything I've had. The sweet potato fries are kind of a classic, though. And they do things to mussels that are unreal.

The blackened tofu burrito is an awesome vegetarian dish. The chicken leg braised in porter is astoundingly good. Oh! There's a ham panini with apples that is excellent.

The burgers and pizzas are good, and the appetizer of beer cheese spread served with soft pretzel bits is really good.

Also? GET SOME BEER I AM SO JEALOUS!!!!!

I am so pleased with how many Buffistas have been through the Alchemist. That is awesome.
