I like the ball/competition dress. It's beautiful and unique.
Spike's Bitches 46: Don't I get a cookie?
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Barb, wanna do Hot Yoga with me?
Barb, wanna do Hot Yoga with me?
Where and when, babe?
And of course you should get a dog! You're a great person for a dog!
Yay dog!
I received a copy of my supervisor's mid-year notes for my performance review next week. Quite a bit of good, a few things I need to work on (which, of course, I'm fixating on), and one bit about being less literal and more intuitive when dealing with others in meetings. I'm torn between feeling like Anya (strangely literal) and Xander (I listen to the words that come out of people's mouthes and believe them). Not sure how to fix this without a crystal ball. Guess we'll discuss that in next Tuesday's review.
ETA: I'm eating at a Chinese restaraunt, and my fortune cookie says, "I can read your mind." Great! Show me how to do that, magic cookie. Ideally before my fall performance review.
Let's backchannel the schedule! I have a few groupons I need to start using. ::facepalm::
Dog comes home... tomorrow, in theory. Meep.
Plei, dogs are awesome! What kind of dog?
Greyhound.
Doggie! Oh, I'm so excited for you, Plei.
Plei, do you ever read Shakesville? Melissa McEwan over there has been blogging about her greyhound rescue, and it's a really great story about how he's emerged from his shell since they adopted him.
Oh my gosh, we have a friend with 2 greyhound rescues, and they are the most mellow, sweet dogs EVER. And when she takes them for walks, they actually *prance* -- they pick their feet up higher than any dog I've seen. They sort of bounce, actually.
