All this loss and sympathy is making me cry at my desk.
Spike's Bitches 46: Don't I get a cookie?
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
{{{Jilli & Pete}}} I'm so, so sorry. This has been such an awful year for so many of us, you in particular. When I was emailing you earlier, I hadn't checked the board. I just wish things would ease up for you.
Damn, Gud Many hugs and job-finding ~ma to you as well.
{{{FredPete}}} So sorry about Victor.
This has just not been a good day for Buffistas. DNW.
And added feel better~ma to Zen and Seska, for sure.
I hear you, Nora.
Everything Barb said to everyone, seconded.
Thankfully I'm not at a desk or sitting on a stack of 2x4s on a job site, because I am totally crying. Oh Jilli, oh Pete, oh Fred Pete, oh Hubs. My heart goes out to you all. I've been there and will be again, and there is no way to make it not suck heartily.
Jilli, I'm glad you feel safe venting here. If there's anything we can do besides listen/read, please say.
Oh Jilli, oh Pete, oh Fred Pete, oh Hubs. My heart goes out to you all.
Yes. So much.
What smonster said.

Oh, y'all, I am so so sorry. All my love and thoughts are with all y'all.
{{All}} I'm too bleary to try and type it all. You're all in my heart and have my total sympathy.
Thanks, all. Victor didn't suffer. He never really regained consciousness after the surgery. And if it was FIP, all he had to look forward to was a few days to a week in the hospital, looking forward to our evening visits.
He was lively last night, climbing all over us. His movements were more confident, his irises were looking better. The jaundice in his eyes wasn't getting worse. The vet said his lungs were clearing up -- if they hadn't, I don't think she would have approved the surgery.
I knew there was a chance that he wouldn't make it through the surgery. But it still hurts incredibly.
