Spidra, that sucks. Were I there... well, I wouldn't drink a daiquiri b/c they give me stomach aches. And I couldn't have cake b/c of the coffee. But I would sing lustily! ...though perhaps you'd rather I didn't. But I'd be there!
DJ, oh I know. I actually passed up the chance to see a game with Krissie to see other friends who were in town for one night, but that didn't work out so I totally should have gone. I also made the cardinal sin of not recognizing a pic of Brees in someone's office. But I am recording the game rigtt now!
WHOO!! We're in the other room, watching on the jumbo TV. We should be down at M's bar (first night of the new Cajun menu!!!), but we are Tired Of The Peoples. So we're at home, drinking beer, and eating Mexican food.
I know, right? I nearly bought a "Breesus is my homeboy" shirt in penance.
I wouldn't even be this amenable, were it not for four seasons of FNL remedial therapy.
Watching the game now.
(I've determined that I really truly am immune. If repeatedly mainlining FNL couldn't get me over my total "wait, there's a football season going on?"ness, nothing ever will.)
remarkably enough, that was an xpost and not a response.
Dude, it's not football. It's the Saints.
Football is the one that uses shuttlecocks, right?
In a glaring example of how bad I am at fantasy football. This week, I have Drew Brees for QB, and Min for Defense. Um. I'm guessing one of those will have a bad stat.
"watching" the game on the net at work while pulling cable. Dinner break? huh? What's that? I've been here for over 10 hours so far today. Blargh.
