Angel: Miss me? Lilah: Only in the sense of…no.

Spike's Bitches 46: Don't I get a cookie?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift

Damn, I'm so sorry smonster.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Thanks for the brackets. I'm not the only one. Company-wide, don't know how deep. I reckon that's what the call in 15 is about. The universe is kind of calling my bluff on this NOLA thing, huh? I'm kind of shocky and teary right now, but I think as I calm down I'll be fine.

Seska, you'll be pleased to know that I'm having a nice cuppa of Welsh tea. I swear, my parents are nearly British sometimes. I'm at their house, they're closer to the office.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

I'm sorry smonster. I bet there's something wonderful waiting for you in New Orleans the universe is trying to get you to.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

The universe is kind of calling my bluff on this NOLA thing, huh?

I hope that's the upshot. I'm sorry, smonster. May today's bad news bring tomorrow's good things.

Ann, that's a ferret.

Also, thank you for the thoughts. I can't believe I'm doing nothing wrong, but thank you.

Victor's tests came back yesterday. The vet is 70-80% sure it's FIP. If Victor were an only cat, she'd probably send him home with antibiotics and an appetite stimulant. But we don't want to expose the cats any more than they already have been.

There is one bright spot. His lungs are clearing up. So apparently there was pneumonia on top of whatever else is going on. I think he's walking a little more steadily, which may be rehydration or may be improvement in his neurological system. At any rate, he enjoyed our visit last night. I suspect at least in part because we brought one of his favorite moist foods (Friskies Elegant Medley with greens).

We're going to try exploratory surgery tomorrow. If it isn't FIP, we hope to figure out what's going on. The downside is, if it's FIP, the surgery will cause him to deteriorate more quickly. But realistically, that means we put him to sleep this weekend instead of next weekend.

Punishingly Intricate

Ah, that sucks smonster. I hope you can pick up some work to tide you over before you find something awesome in New Orleans! Good luck!

“Not dead yet!”

Aw, smonster, on the one hand, that sucks, on the other, I do think the Universe is trying to tell you something, doll.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Blerg, smonster.
