Spike's Bitches 46: Don't I get a cookie?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

All is well that ends in pizza.

"I am Eagle."

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Do they have a dish called Spartacus?

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

I might be willing to say, "I am Cheeseburger" if it would get me one, but "I am Rainbow"? Um, you are Piss Off.

I wonder if Riley's "Cow me!" would work.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

I am awesome gumbo- I made gumbo for the first time! With a roux that took like 40 minutes to make! It was really good too- now granted, the audience was my husband and my mother, so not exactly unbiased, but I think it actually was delicious.

smonster, insent.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I made baked ziti and a salad with apples, blue cheese and almonds. I also made brownies, which are technically for bringing to Mom's tomorrow, but we had some anyway.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

I am Yum Nua and the last beer before passover.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

Jilli, whenever you wander by, I have to thank you for the recommendation of the mushroom complex supplement for immunity. I've been taking it for 2 months...and also haven't had a cold for 2 months. Now, correlation is not causation; I know that well.

That said, I was pretty much sick with some sort of respiratory nastiness starting at the end of October right on through late December, when it became The Pleurisy, and eventually got better in January...only to be followed by a cold Valentine's Day weekend. So I was sick basically from the end of October to late February, with a small reprieve in January.

But I started taking the mushroom complex in mid-February, and other than a few days where I felt like I might be fighting something, I have been fairly dang healthy (migraines notwithstanding.)

I'm going to take it for another 2 months (because 1 bottle lasts for 2 months) and then re-evaluate how I feel. At that point I may stop taking it until the fall.

Utterly unrelatedly, how funky is the house we're staying in for vacation this year? [link] We are going to be SO easy to spot from the beach!

Calli: My people have a saying. A man who trusts can never be betrayed, only mistaken.Avon: Life expectancy among your people must be extremely short.

Hmm. Can you repeat the name of the mushroom supplement, please?
