Hivemind font question - though I'll cc: the font and crafts thread - DH is wondering what's the best font for his cv these days - he had it in TNR. Science-geek audience. He's applying internally, which would be a really good thing atm. Thanks for your help.

Spike's Bitches 46: Don't I get a cookie?
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Yeah, the in-laws are in Holly Springs, and I'm pretty convinced that when they said everything was fine, they hadn't actually left their own block yet - their side of town was definitely in the thick of it. But they're fine themselves, which is the major thing.
S. was down at the coast for today, and promised not to start back until the weather had passed - so he'll be late, but at least he's sane that way.
Happy Birthday, Drew!
- deep breath* our huge computer switchover at work is happening at 5am tonight/tomorrow morning. The server was down the last 3 days due to the AC in the server room breaking so we couldn't practice. I'm trying to enjoy my last day on the old system and not freak out about when i show up tomorrow morning everything will be different. everything. going from a command line unix-type system to a windows based system with a mouse and clicky tabs. tomorrow i will freak about all the new commands and typecodes and difficulty navigating quickly while maintaining the same efficiency on the line with callers. Today, just trying to keep breathing. The anticipation is the hardest part sometimes.
Looks like NC probably had at least a dozen tornadoes today, which is the amount we usually get in a year.
Oh, good luck, erin. I hope everything goes smoothly.

Yikes! I saw some intense weather from the Jiffy Lube and a Chinese restaurant in Chapel Hill, but this is the first I knew about tornadoes in Raleigh.
Happy Birthday, Drew!!!
That storm was pretty scary as it went through here, and Georgia got off lightly compared with other areas. We've had two tornado warnings for my part of the county in the last two weeks. I hope it's not a sign of things to come.
Sox, I'd stick with TNR or another traditional serif type. You don't want type that calls attention to itself.
Computer~ma to Erin and her co-workers.
I hope all the buffistas and their loved ones stay safe from the storms.
