Spike's Bitches 46: Don't I get a cookie?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I love her.

Last week, with the liqeur on the ice cream, was awesome. ("We're going to a bar...because I *do* that now.")

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Amy Farrah Fowler RULZ

Worth repeating!

My first thought, hand to god? "THAT'S not so weird...."

I don't watch CSI anymore, but I rarely thought the "weird" things on CSI were very weird.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

The only thing I did different was start the topical steroid last night. IIRC, Cass was the one who suggested a steroid cream, so: CASS FTW!!!!!

I am the goolie whisperer, yo.

A saline soak might help the actual wound heal too if it needs more encouragement. So glad you are getting some relief.

epsom salts may work better than regular saline solution. Don't know medically, but from personal experience they hurt less and reduce inflamation better.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

The sites I saw recced a weak saline solution or a sitz bath.

My husband and I just made out 1 year anniversary plansfor Saturday! We are going to Extra Virgin, a Michael Smith tapas bar that we've been to with friends once (the pork belly and chickpea frites were come-to-jesus delish) and it's supposed to hit a low of 71, so we have a reservation on the patio and are going to drinking fancy cocktails, eat yummy food and then walk around and check out galleries.

Fun!

Erin, how are you married for ONE YEAR already?!?

I don't watch CSI anymore, but I rarely thought the "weird" things on CSI were very weird.

I was afraid my weird-o-meter was broken. I mean, I *do* find stuff weird (::cough::Gor::cough::), but human kitties is farly tame. No pun intended.

Dude, don't ask me! I am still all "Married? Me? WHAADAFUCK...?!"

But we have weathered my craziness, his social anxiety, almost-foreclosure, his inability to clean a bathroom or change the sheets and my stupid job stuff, so it is still pretty awesome!

Plus, we both want to celebrate our marriage with the belly of the pig, cheese, liquor and violent action movies -- what could be better?!

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Congratulations, Erin. Sure sounds like an excellent way to celebrate.

So much easily-treatable-GI~ma for Tzepesh. Harvey sends his best purrs as well.

I hope they enjoy it Andi! And you too. I've seen some really nice designs for kids, but I have the say that the more intricate designs are more fun for me.

We all loved working on it, including one guy I would never have guessed would be interested. In fact, he said, "Oh, those are mandalas. My brother told me about them, it's really relaxing to color them." I downloaded several different designs, one of which had a six-pointed star at the center, that I didn't notice until it was pointed out to me - it was chosen by the person who is Jewish (the family does not expect us to keep kosher or anything, but really appreciate that we help set up a Menorah in Dec. and have a lot of "Happy Holidays" decor rather than all specifically Christmas stuff).
