Wesley: And how does your kind define love? Demon: Same as all bodies. Same as everywheres. Love is sacrifice.

Spike's Bitches 46: Don't I get a cookie?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

You have a point, ita. And what I said was really obnoxious to those of us for whom spelling just does not come easy. I'm sorry. I know it isn't a matter of laziness or not caring. It was rather ass-hat-ish of me to say it.

What a relief, Hil. I know that has been a big worry for a while now.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Did you guys see today's "Rose is Rose"? [link]

That really needs to be a tag.

I really need to get my butt out of bed and start grading papers.

Compassionately intolerant

A wee mousy died in my house last night. So sad.

This cute little beasty ran around the living room and my bedroom for a couple of hours (to total obliviousness from Bartleby) and I fretted about what to do about it.

I do NOT want vermin in my house, but I can't kill things.

Seriously, I wince over killing a bug.

I went down to report the sighting to my landlord and he offered me glue traps. No frickin' way, pal. I acknowledged the price to be paid for my wimpiness and tried to brainstorm other options.

I came upstairs and went to turn on my computer...the teeny critter had laid down right under the cpu.

No cause of death known. But, I can say that he did not look depressed the last time I saw him.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

Daniel and Lindsey is beautiful. And I am utterly in love with the accidental adorability of "sad emu teenagers."
