Hey, evil dead, you're in my seat.

Spike's Bitches 46: Don't I get a cookie?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

I hate the part of a severe thunderstorm/tornado watch when I'm trying to decide if I should bed down in the hall.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Haven't gotten to that one yet, I think it's a little too depressing for what I need right now. Turns out I'm in the mood for Kylie!!! Man, she really has the best dance music.

She really does. She's had quite the career. The singles off Sia's album sound perkier than her previous stuff, but I don't know how that carries through to the rest of the album. (I quite like the sound of her previous album, "Some People Have Real Problems", especially "Soon We'll Be Found" - actually pretty optimistic, the music notwithstanding.)

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

That sounds like a very fun party, Steph.

Tonight I am going to paint my nails with many layers of pink glitter, and then put the black crackle polish over that. Wheee!

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

I painted my nails pastel green today. And then heard the laundry machine buzz. I forgot that's what I was in the middle of doing. I tried, but no help. But that's okay, I had fun doing it, and it was pretty for a little bit! Tomorrow afternoon I'll try again...after I do the digging around in insulation work.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

"Your Disco Needs You" is one of my all time feel good songs

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Oh, and because I didn't say it outright, and it should come out of my brane into the world...

The best kind of social support, imho.

Thanks people, all of you. It really does help to keep me in the world, and you all mean a bunch to me. So thanks.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Să fie sănătos, Țepeș. Nu-e bine să ingrigeorească mămică ta așa. Fie cuminte și mănâncă, băietule. (what? I figure I should talk to him in his native language.)

Vortex, you know one of my favorite memories from the DC f2f is belting that song out with you.

All the nail talk has me wanting to do mine.

bt, the Sia I'm familiar with is stuff like "Breathe Me," which I love but can't listen to right now, and I wasn't sure what this album had to offer.

I stayed up way late reading, and now can't get to sleep. Lordy, I'm going to regret that decision in the morning even more than I am now.

Embrace the idea that we are the leaders we've been looking for. Grace Lee Boggs

The younger one literally stood on the head of the older one and screamed for the whole of the 14 hours.

How much am I a terrible, horrible person that this made me laugh out loud instead of sad and sympathetic? I am very, very terrible.

So, my friends came home from vacation and want to buy the house with me. It looks like it might actually work. I don't know whether to jump up and down with joy, or to run screaming to the nearest condo association. Mostly, though, I feel so much calmer and better, no matter how it works out.

Am I delusional to buy a big expensive house with really good friends?

I've only heard "You've Changed" and "Clap Your Hands", but they're both distinctly perkier than "Breathe Me" (or for that matter "Buttons" or "The Girl You Lost To Cocaine"). With titles like "Hurting Me Now" and a cover of Madonna's "Oh Father", though, I reckon you made the right choice for the evening's musical stylings.
