I fed off a flowerperson, and I spent the next six hours watchin' my hand move.

Spike's Bitches 46: Don't I get a cookie?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Today, we are going out for brunch, then putting all the furniture back in our newly-stained backyard!!!!! It looks all terracotta-ish and I can't wait to see how it will look with all the potted plants back!

Afterwards, I am going to go through my clothes and try to figure out a better way to store them.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I am taking care of my lounging on the couch business.

Me too! That and the very difficult business of reading the Sunday papers.

Scrappy, be sure to take pictures of your new backyard when you get the chance. It sounds lovely.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Pics when you get through, Scrappy! I love people's yards! That was the plan for this weekend, but the plan did not include 40mph straightline winds.

I did take the dog outside and brush him, though, because the fur is instantly gone. I wouldn't do that if it went into the neighbor's yard, but since there are only five occupied houses in a two-mile stretch, I'm pretty sure it's not annoying to anyone.

I am still pretty furry, though, so I need to implement the getting out of my pj's portion of my plan stat.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

::high-fives Liese and Hil and Dana:: ::and Nora, just cause::

I've scrubbed the tub, taken a shower, put the THREE shower curtains in the washing machine with a load of rags, scooped the litter pans and taken out the trash, cleaned the kitchen sink and counters, and now I'm taking a lunch break. After lunch, I'll rehang the shower curtains, start the dishwasher, make sure I have what I need for errands and work, and get out the door! I need to put in four hours of work today.

Scrappy, there will be peektures, yes? It sounds fab.

Aims, glad you found a church to try out, and hey - at least they'll remember you?

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

My TCOB involves going to Walmart to pick up a prescription for Daniel, some Sudafed, and.... whatever it was that I forgot to write down. Doing some laundry would be nice, but I ain't pressed.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Emptied and am soaking the compost pail, started the dishwasher, paid my water bill. Having a smoke and the last of my coffee on the porch.

Things I Should Do: Go to library (return way overdue book), pay bills, do some cleaning. Possibly get pedicure.

Things I Am Doing: Chop out bush from garden, vaguely try to make dandelions gone, give up. Add books to kindle. Shower. Obsessively check internet for new things.
