Spike's Bitches 46: Don't I get a cookie?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Congrats Connie, it's so exciting to get down a work out regimin that works.

Thrive to spite them

That's awesome Connie

Steph - I havent' gone on a long trip in a while. But the last time I went to the beach for the weekend (meaning 2 nights) I packed 5 different outfits. The weather was kinda chilly so I had to have long sleeve, and short sleeve, and shorts and jeans, and comfy loungy things, and pajams. And three pairs of shoes.

Last week when I went over night (and really only needed 1 change of clothes) I managed to get it down to 2 shirts, 1 cardigan (in case it was cold), shorts, loungy pants, and pajamas.

Embrace the idea that we are the leaders we've been looking for. Grace Lee Boggs

I ♥ the State of Vermont.

I so wanted to click a "like" button here. I think I've been spending too much time on Facebook.

Instant Boss

I need this. Only, I can't put it on my work computer because it's all locked down, and I can't put it on my home computer because it's a mac. See how the universe conspires against me!?!

packing

I'm in denial about this. I have too much stuff. Even if I choose to buy the house where I live, my brother says I should pack everything and move out to be in a better bargaining position. I recognize the wisdom of this, and yet, I don't wanna pack everything and move out! Of course, should I go with the more conservative choice of not buying the monstrously expensive house that I can't afford unless most of it is rented out, and that I would be totally screwed with if I couldn't keep it rented, and instead buy an only slightly too expensive condo, then I would have to move anyway.

See. Denial, interspersed by brief periods of packing and throwing away stuff, is really the only way to go.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

I don't do massive amounts of snow. I might feel differently if I was in love.

I'd be ROFLMFAO except I'm too burned out from shovelling.

The State Legislature of Vermont is vastly more nifty than the State Legislature of Wisconsin.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

I like lifting weights. I don't like doing it where other humans can see me. Thus I haven't been to the gym in over a year, since my trainer left, and it shows.

meara - Apr 01, 2011 8:12:25 pm PDT #18789 of 30000

I just bought a huge bunch of trainer sessions (37! Well, 32 and they throw in 5 free), because it's the only thing that gets me to the gym. And I weigh 35 pounds more than I did when I moved to Seattle (granted, I was in the best shape evah when I did...because I'd been working out with a trainer!). Fingers crossed that by the end of the summer I shall be bikini-svelte.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Billytea - how cool. I have never heard of the yapok before.

Isn't it though? It was in an animal encyclopaedia I had when I was about six. (I think they were a bit short of animals starting with Y.) They've held a fascination for me ever since.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

Go Connie! I need to get my ass to a gym.

I have been to Madison and partaken of the fried cheese curds, and endorse both heartily.

I concur. I recommend accompanying said cheese curds with a New Glarus Spotted Cow, but YNGMV ('cause they have a lot of good beers)

Our wings are not tired

I'm the opposite of an ADD packer. Most of my trips involve about 25 minutes of packing maximum. I usually only pack a 22" roll aboard. Even when I was gone for a month last summer I did it all with a roll aboard. No checked baggage.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Yeah, I haven't checked luggage in yonks. Much easier. Although I do sometimes wander around airports looking for ground transport, forgetting that it would be outside baggage claim, where I did not need to go.
